The Nelson Community Food Centre staff strives to create a welcoming environment where people can access healthy food, join a cooking or gardening program, and be part of a community centred on nutritious food and fun social activities. Programs cross-pollinate, with program participants volunteering, while sharing meals they have helped cook, using food they may have helped harvest.
