Sumac Community Food Centre serves as Right To Food’s first directly operated Community Food Centre and national headquarters. Housed in a beautifully renovated historic building, Sumac offers free community programs including shared meals, affordable produce markets, hands-on cooking workshops, and advocacy opportunities. The centre creates dedicated space for individuals and families on low incomes and those who have been denied their right to good, healthy food, building on the community leadership and spirit of mutual aid that define this neighbourhood.
