Our network of Good Food Organizations
Right To Food resources and strengthens the community food sector’s capacity for impact. We do this by supporting organizations that are carrying the right to food movement forward!
How to join
The Good Food Organization (GFO) network includes 450+ community-based organizations that share a commitment to building health, belonging, and greater equity through food. The program is guided by the Good Food Principles, and invites each member to identify how their current work and long-term goals put each of the five principles into action. The program is free to participate in, and provides a space for partners to learn and to share their expertise, knowledge, and experience.
With the mounting crisis of food insecurity, frontline organizations are facing increasing demands. In these challenging times, there is nothing more powerful than connecting with leaders from across the sector who relate not only to the day-to-day challenges, but also to the shared commitment to work towards a country that delivers on the right to food for all.
“
Strength in numbers! Many of us work in isolation with limited funding and resources. Being a GFO gives us the opportunity to network with groups across Canada, and offers us learning materials and access to program funding that has been really helpful to moving the organization forward.
