Fountain of Life Coptic Ministry is a newly established outreach ministry under the Canadian Coptic Orthodox Church in Richmond Hill, dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and financial hardship across Richmond Hill, Aurora, and Newmarket. Rooted in values of dignity, compassion, and community service, our mission is to walk alongside the most vulnerable by providing access to warm, nourishing meals and essential items such as clothing, hygiene supplies, and basic necessities. Our outreach is entirely volunteer-driven and grounded in the belief that every person deserves to be seen, supported, and cared for, especially during the harsh winter months, when community need is most acute. We collaborate with local businesses, restaurants, and community partners to offer consistent, high-quality support and to foster a sense of connection and belonging among the people we serve. As we grow, Fountain of Life is committed to expanding its capacity, strengthening partnerships, and developing sustainable food and outreach programs that respond directly to community needs. Our vision is a community where everyone has access to the essentials that allow them to live with dignity, warmth, and hope.
