Organizing from the ground up: Our network is our strength

Our movement is powered by a national network of 450+ local organizations comprising Good Food Organizations and Community Food Centres that share a commitment to social justice and a belief that food can bring people together. In our advocacy, we:

  • link lived experience to policy change
  • amplify voices that are too often ignored
  • support Indigenous food sovereignty and self-determination
  • share tools, knowledge, and resources to grow our collective impact.

This is what we mean by connecting grassroots organizing with national advocacy.

We’ve partnered with committed organizations in six regions to bring local organizations together to support and learn from each other as we advocate together for a shared national vision.
