With more than 450 partners across the country, we build Community Food Centres, share knowledge, create programs to improve health and belonging, and advocate for progressive policy change.

Other ways to support Right To Food
A gift in your Will is the ultimate expression of your values.
When you leave a gift in your Will to Right To Food, your legacy will help build a Canada where everyone has the means, knowledge, and voice to access good food with dignity.
Gifts can be made through a bequest in your will of cash, RRSP/RRIF, or a Life Insurance Policy. These gifts can offer significant tax advantages.

Donating appreciated securities is a simple, cost-effective, and tax-efficient way to make a charitable gift. You can eliminate the capital gains tax that you’d need to pay if you sold the securities and donated the proceeds. You will receive a charitable tax receipt for the fair market value of your donation.

You can make a gift of securities in a few simple steps:
- Download and complete the Letter of Authorization from Donor to Broker.
- Fax or mail your completed form to your broker or adviser, who will transfer the gift of securities.
- Notify Right To Food of the transfer by emailing a copy of the Letter of Authorization from Donor to Broker form to [email protected].
You will receive a charitable tax receipt based on the closing price on the date that shares are received. (Note: Right To Food must receive the Letter of Authorization in order to issue a charitable tax receipt.)
